WHERE AIMM ACADEMY CAME FROM

AIMM (Am I Making Any Money?) was born inside Pacific Outdoor Living (POL) a design-build company in Los Angeles, one of the toughest construction markets in the world.

POL started like most contracting companies:

A few guys
A truck
Tools in the back
Long days in the field
Late nights doing estimates
Zero financial visibility
Everyone coming to the owner
No systems
No separation of roles
No path out

The owner, Terry Morrill, was stuck in the same trap as most contractors:
the business worked only if he worked 60–80 hours a week.

Over time, POL developed real systems for estimating, hiring, marketing, production, money, and leadership
and used them to grow from a small operation to a $35M design-build company.

AIMM Academy is the codification of those systems.
